Greg talks to actor Willie Garson about playing a gay man on TV, acting in just about every movie/TV show under the sun, long days on NYPD Blue and adopting a child as a single dad. Plus overheards

"that chapter is dfeniitely closed" and she's looking out a window...but I may be mixing up that heroine looking out a window when the rain is coming down with the 1975 Public Television production of "Much Ado About Nothing." That was a film version of the A.J. Antoon production with the same cast that was on Broadway. At one point in the TV version, Beatrice is looking out a window as the rain is streaming down. It's the moment she realizes she loves Benedick.I used a stormy (rain) night in an early scene in "All For Love." And there's a storm scene based on a famous incident when the King and Queen of Naples fled for Sicily with the Hamiltons aboard Nelson's flagship on Christmas, 1798, in "Too Great a Lady." I try to be mindful of weather, though it's not a character in my books the way it is in some books, or movies.

Hi.I came across this post and felt like comminteng. You mention how patients deal with their anger by splitting it off and projecting it on someone else. (Boss, garbage man ect.)Let's say two angry frustrated parents picked one of their children. That child received the anger and then projected on brother and sisters out of fear that the child will have to endure anger from the parents. Then when child is angry with brothers and sisters, parents still blame that child. So in reality the scapegoat child might be a really nice kid, but because parents needed something to dump it's anger on to, the child because hostile and angry.Maybe the child observed this and decided being that angry wasn't healthy. She learned to suppress and deny her anger because then no one had to deal with it. Later on in life it develops into illness. How does that child re-gain access to and own the anger and release it so that it can go back to a state of health and wellness?I think she realized that it would be safer to shut the anger out because she wasn't getting heard by anyone anyways, and it wasn't who she wanted to be, and was deeply hostile. She didn't want to split off and project and blame another, yet she had no-where to project and place it out so she directed it to self. http://rlnuxppl.com azbigmaddvh [link=http://ebkitl.com]ebkitl[/link]

Keep the faith, friends; I'll get there soemady!Incidentally, Random Harvest got a rather dismissive shout-out in The New York Times Style Magazine this weekend in an article about Jessica Chastain: She even cites Greer Garson in Random Harvest, that loony old weeper' as an influence. Well, young lady, points for recognizing the glorious Greer; boo for dissing on the movie!
