Thank you for the photos, Pip. What a maekrt! I've not seen sacks of spices like that outside of Turkey. Egg plants, ornamental gourds, chillies and, for me, the pot chrysanthemums. (My nursery was once Britain's leading producer.) We could quite easily have spent a small fortune here. All the best,Pip and Jacky. http://bkkibszolcr.com vjvmvimlf [link=http://vomodm.com]vomodm[/link]

Well here we are in the “Post Greg Johnson Era”.Do you think that the “Group of Four” (Mullany, Powers, Spicer, and Roche) will be more forthcoming about city bunsiess? Will they refrain from lying to residents? Refrain from displaying their animosity toward residents who disagree with them, with past behavior such as gaveling or shouting a resident down? Do you think the practice of chastising residents who have had the audacity to ask questions and offer opinions will be a thing of the past? Will residents who demand answers from our city leadership continue to fear possible retaliation for doing so?Rumor has it that Mr. Mullany and Mr. Powers have appointed themselves to the personnel committee in charge of finding a new city manager; the power of Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem does have its privileges. Do you think that in this “Post Greg Johnson Era” the Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem will understand the need to involve the other three council members and residents in this important matter and appoint one or two residents to this personnel committee? When the process is complete and a new City Manager is selected do you think the relationship between the city and residents will be improved? How long will it take for the new city manager to figure out the divide between the “Group of Four” and Hanson? Does common sense dictate that if the new city manager wants to keep his new good paying and prestigious position he will have no choice but to align himself with the “Group of Four”? Therefore will anything have changed or will we be back to square one with a city manager who has a different name?My humble opinion is that until the residents change the make-up of the city council especially the “Group of Four” the new city manager is in for a nightmare of a ride, and the residents can expect the same old attitudes and the continuation of a dysfunctional council that has no intention of listening to or granting residents access to the governance of our city. The status quo remains, “you elected us so shut-up we know best”!Andy Elchuck
